Nature’s Art Village is Connecticut’s fastest-growing destination for family fun. The couple who owns it believed there should be a place where children of all ages (and children at heart) could learn about the natural world around us and interact with our planet’s past in an exciting and educational way. So in 2000, they made it a reality at Nature’s Art Village with a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
The Dinosaur Place: You can walk among the dinosaurs at this 60-acre outdoor adventure park that has nature trails and more than 50 life-sized dinosaurs. You’ll also find a dinosaur maze & caves, a playground featuring the T-Rex Tower and the largest Splash Pad® in New England.
Discovery Depot: 3 Unique, hands-on science activities can be found inside: Geode Center, Thunder Creek and Jackpot Mine.
The PAST Antiques Market: More than 14,000 square feet of antiques, crafts and collectibles from over 90 different dealers. You’re sure to find something for whatever kind of collection you are looking for.
The Shops: You’ll find six shops in one, containing a toy shop, bead shop, fossil shop, jewelry shop, mineral shop and gift shop. The friendly staff will help you find what you are looking for, or just go in and browse and see what interests you. The Cobalt Cafe is also located with the shops, and this is where you can find food like pizza, sandwiches and snacks.
Copper Creek Mini Golf: With an Old-West Mining Town theme, this 18-hole miniature golf course will test your putting ability as well as your knowledge of minerals.
Genius Museum: Travel back in time as you see the exhibits consisting of tools and machinery from as far back as the early 19th century. Here you can also see some of the largest functioning steam engines in New England!
At Nature’s Art Village they strive to make sure you have a memorable and fun experience during your visit. They continue to grow and add to their campus every year so there is always something new to explore.
