You are going to think I am joking when I say this, but every single time we drive through Salt Lake City we always stop at the City Creek Kneaders! Seriously though, every single time. People joke that we should try other places, but why fix something that isn’t broken? Plus, my kids would be devastated if we didn’t stop there to get a cookie! When we pull into the parking garage at City Creek, before we even get out of the car my daughter says, “Yay! We are going to Holly’s Cookie Store!” with more excitement than when we are having a party. Holly is the owner of the City Creek Kneaders and is seriously THE BEST! She is so so kind and my kids love saying hi!

And well, Kneaders has been nicked named the cookie store at our house, because we never leave without their sugar cookies which can put a smile on my kids face even on a bad day.

Now, let me tell you, I haven’t tried everything on the menu – but I fully intend to at some point! That being said, I have LOVED everything I have tried. Right now if you asked my favorite would be the Chicken Pesto Panini… but last week I ordered the French Dip and it was just what I needed. I’m telling you, anything you order will be amazing!

Oh… and don’t even get me started on the treats. I could seriously go there, just order the treats, and be a happy camper. My favorite treat is a little bit harder to pick… and truth be told, I never order just one. I love love love their fruit tarts, cupcakes, bread pudding, caramel apples, citrus bars, oh man- I could keep going! The chocolate dome is my husband’s go-to, and I already told you how much my kiddos love the cookies!

Ok, one more thing I just have to mention. Kneaders. French. Toast. That is all you need to know. Go to Kneaders for breakfast one day and order the french toast because I promise, you will not regret it! It comes with the most delicious syrup you have ever tasted as well as whipped cream and strawberries on the side. Oh my gosh – go try it!

Did I mention that Kneaders has an adorable little boutique inside the store? I can’t even tell you how many house decorations, kids’ books, and holiday decorations I have picked up at their store. They have so many cute things, and I just want it all! At the holidays you can bet I will be stopping by for the new perfect addition to my holiday decor!

They also have a variety of breads, their famous syrup, popcorn, chocolate treats, and other goodies wrapped and ready to go. When it comes to gifts, they have you covered. If you are looking for a basket for a co-worker or really anyone, they have beautiful, trendy, and all kinds of holiday baskets that you can pick up already made. If you want something a little more specific you can custom order a basket that is exactly what you want.

My advice? Make sure you include one of their breads in your basket because they are to die for!

On top of the great food, the service is amazing! The store is so clean, and everyone has always been so friendly, even in the middle of a crazy lunch rush! I have loved every visit to the City Creek Kneaders and look forward to going back!
