We had the absolute pleasure of going to Sight & Sound in Lancaster, PA to see their newest production, “David.” Sight & Sound is nestled in the vast farmlands of Lancaster County, tucked away in a beautiful landscape. The building itself is something to marvel at! Outside you see the beautiful fountains, unique architecture, and benches to take it all in.
“Sight & Sound’s unique theater experience begins with a 2,000 seat auditorium, a 300-ft stage that surrounds the audience on three sides, a cast of 50 actors, state-of-the-art technology, and live animals.” ~ Sight & Sound
To experience a show here is truly one of a kind. We love that the actors and animal actors can come right alongside you through the aisles and on all the stages that surround you. It is a completely immersive experience. The acting is top-notch, the storyline is enthralling, the music is beautiful, and everything is an unforgettable experience!
Each Sight & Sound Show takes around 3.5 years from start to stage to create. They are designed to be appealing to all ages, life stages, and for those who have no Biblical exposure. Most years a new show is released which makes this a place you can keep coming back to, even though seeing a show again is something I would do over and over!
Sight & Sound also has gift shop areas to pick up some souvenirs and also refreshments. If you are a nut person, you HAVE to get the almonds, trust me they are worth it and SO delicious!
If you are interested in catching the show DAVID while it is still in theaters, don’t wait, it’s only on stage until December! To find out more about the show or to purchase tickets, click here to visit their website.
