Iowa: Des Moines Renaissance Faire

The Des Moines Renaissance Faire has four stages of rotating professional acts & entertainment. A village marketplace, showcasing artisan merchants from all over the USA. Living history encampments and folkway demonstrations. Hands-on games of skill. Food court with turkey legs, British specialties, and beer garden. Children’s realm with pirates and treasure hunts. One-hundred costumed village characters.


Nebraska: Victorian Festival

Join us in Superior, NE over Memorial Weekend, May 28-30th for the 29th Annual Victorian Festival as we honor Lady Evelyn Vestey and reminisce about her life in and contribution to Superior. The theme for the 2021 Festival is ‘Bon Voyage! It’s a WANDERFUL Life!’ in honor of Lady Evelyn Vestey and her worldly travels.


New Mexico: Edgewood Wind Festival

Enjoy seeing the sky filled with beautiful kites of different colors and shapes at the Edgewood Wind Festival. There will also be professional stunt kite fliers showcasing their expertise in kite flying. The festival will also host a kite flying contests. Kites will be available for sale.


North Carolina: Hippie Fest

Hippie Fest is a grassroots festival where free-spirited people from across the country gather to celebrate peace, love, and all things groovy! Featuring live music, bohemian shopping, vintage hippie car show, DIY tie-dye, giant bubble garden, cirque performers, kids activities, delicious food, tipsy-hippie tiki bar, and more. All ages welcome. Kids 10 and under free. It’s groovy baby!


Pennsylvania: Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival

The Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival is known not only for presenting top-notch Bluegrass music, but is also known as a premier place to bring the entire family for a wonderful music lover’s outing. Granite Hill Camping Resort, the host of the festival, offers a near-perfect setting for the presentation of bluegrass music. With its spacious grounds and modern facilities, families can relax and kids can play. During a break from the music, the stocked trout pond, fabulous Adventure Golf Course, playgrounds, tennis court, game room, and the bass & boating lake will provide a welcome diversion.


Tennessee: West Tennessee Strawberry Festival

The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival is an 80-year tradition in Humboldt, an opportunity for a classic West Tennessee homecoming as people travel from across the country to enjoy the events, the food, and the fellowship of family and friends. The Pageants, the music, the golf tournament, the horse show, the fireworks, the recipe contest, the carnival, the parades with floats and bands, the 5K & 10K runs, the festival cuisine and more are all a part of the attraction.


Virginia: Appalachian Trail Days

Washington: Backyard Wildlife Festival

Tukwila’s Backyard Wildlife Festival will feature live music, raptor show, environmental education, native/garden plant sales, arts and crafts, hands-on activities for kids, local food, and more. The day provides learning experiences about how to create a healthy backyard habitat that supports native wildlife. The event features local experts, along with a variety of resources, arts & craft vendors, and native/garden plant sales. Do not leave the kids at home, hands-on art projects and family activities will keep the entire family entertained and excited.
