Families with young children now have a brand-new way to explore and learn at SeaWorld San Antonio. The park has officially opened Rescue Jr., a hands-on, immersive adventure zone designed to educate and entertain kids while showcasing SeaWorld’s rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

A Fun, Educational Experience for Kids

Rescue Jr. brings SeaWorld’s animal rescue mission to life with interactive play zones and exciting attractions tailored for younger guests. Kids can tackle thrilling rides, splash through water features, and engage in hands-on activities that highlight conservation and marine animal care.

Exciting Rides and Attractions

Rescue Jr. features multiple rides perfect for young adventurers, including:

• Beach Rescue Racer – A 1,300-foot roller coaster shaped like a beach jeep, giving kids the sensation of rushing to rescue animals in need. Minimum height: 38 inches.
• Ocean Quest Express – A train ride adventure themed around sea rescues, complete with a fun game of “I Spy” to spot hidden sea life. Minimum height: 36 inches.
• Tide Pool Tumble – A seaside joy ride where kids glide in and out like the tide. Minimum height: 42 inches.
• Seabird Swing – A thrilling swing ride that simulates parasailing high above the ocean. Minimum height: 36 inches.
• Ocean Rescue Carousel – A classic carousel featuring marine-themed creatures, open to all ages (minimum height for solo riders: 42 inches).

Free Preschool Card for Unlimited Visits

To celebrate the launch of Rescue Jr., SeaWorld is offering a free Preschool Card for children ages 3 to 5, granting unlimited admission for all of 2025. Parents can also score unlimited visits by purchasing a SeaWorld Pass, which includes free access to Aquatica during the current Spring Break Sale.
