If Halloween is your favorite holiday, Orlando should be at the top of your fall travel list. Known as the Halloween Vacation Capital, the city goes all-in on spooky season with more than 80 days of nonstop events. From not-so-scary trick-or-treat trails to full-blown haunted houses and even an elegant Vampire Ball, Orlando proves Halloween doesn’t have to be limited to October 31.
The city’s lineup is unmatched. Nationally recognized theme park events mix with quirky local festivals, immersive theater, horror conventions, and family-friendly fun. With warm weather, plenty of sunshine, and fewer summer crowds, fall is one of the best times to experience Orlando.

Orlando’s neighborhoods celebrate Halloween in their own way:
✅ Mix Your Days: Balance high-energy nights like Halloween Horror Nights with more relaxed family-friendly daytime activities.
✅ Dress Smart: Costumes are welcome at many events, but Florida weather is still warm in the fall—think light and breathable.
✅ Plan Ahead: Many ticketed events (especially Disney and Universal) sell out weeks in advance, so grab your passes early.
✅ Stay Local: Explore beyond the theme parks—festivals and neighborhood events give you a true Orlando experience.
? Whether you’re chasing screams, looking for family-friendly trick-or-treating, or hoping to sip spooky cocktails under candlelight, Orlando’s Halloween season has it all. With more than 80 days of frights and fun, you’ll find something new to experience every time you visit.
