If you’ve followed Adventures in the US for any length of time, you already know one thing about me:
I am not a sit at home mom.
I have always been the kind of mom who throws snacks in a bag, piles the kids in the car, and heads out the door in search of our next adventure.
Whether it’s a hidden hiking trail, a new museum, a baseball game, a water park, or a random roadside attraction, I love finding experiences that create memories for our family.
The problem is that adventures can add up quickly.
Admission tickets, parking, food, and activities for a family are not cheap, especially when you enjoy exploring as much as we do.
That’s exactly why I love GetOut.

GetOut has completely changed the way our family experiences Utah.
In the past few months alone, we’ve used our membership for the Salt Lake Bees, Splash Summit, Ogden Dinosaur Park, Bear World, Provo Beach, bowling, and several attractions we probably never would have tried otherwise.
The membership makes it easy to say yes to experiences that might otherwise get pushed to the “maybe someday” list.
A family outing can add up fast.
A few attraction tickets here. A water park visit there. Add snacks, drinks, and a couple of spontaneous summer adventures, and suddenly you’ve spent hundreds of dollars before July is over.
That’s why GetOut works so well for families like ours. Once we have the membership, we stop debating every activity and start focusing on making memories.
And yes, Lagoon is included!! That alone can make the membership worth considering for many Utah families.
One unexpected benefit of GetOut is how many new places we’ve discovered.
Before getting our membership, we tended to revisit the same attractions over and over.
Now we’re constantly finding somewhere new to explore.
Some of our family’s favorite days have come from destinations we knew almost nothing about before seeing them on GetOut.
There is something exciting about trying a new place and finding a hidden gem right here in Utah.

One thing I appreciate is that GetOut works year round.
During the summer, we’re visiting water parks, baseball games, and outdoor attractions.
When winter arrives, we can explore museums, family entertainment centers, indoor activities, and attractions that keep everyone busy even when it’s freezing outside.
No matter what season it is, there is always something fun waiting for us.
As parents, we all have good intentions.
We want to spend quality time together.
We want our kids to experience new things.
We want to create memories.
But sometimes life gets busy and it becomes easier to stay home.
GetOut removes a lot of that friction.
When someone asks, “What should we do today?” we already have dozens of ideas waiting in one app.
That makes spontaneous family adventures incredibly easy.

Yes.
And not just because it saves money.
The real value is that it gets us out of the house.
Instead of scrolling through our phones trying to decide what to do, we open the app and choose an adventure.
Some of our best family memories over the past few years started with a simple question:
“Where should we go today?”
If you’ve been considering a membership, now is a great time.
The GetOut Fourth of July Sale runs through July 5.
Then the Summer Sale begins July 6 and continues through July 27.
And because everyone loves an extra discount, you can save even more by using my code:
Simply enter the code when purchasing your membership for additional savings. This code will always be more than the preloaded code!

Visit GetOut and use code ADVENTURESINTHEUS for additional savings on your membership!
And yes, Lagoon is included.
Looking back, my favorite part isn’t the savings.
It’s the memories.
It’s the random Tuesday adventures.
It’s the places we never would have discovered.
It’s hearing, “Can we do that again?” instead of, “I’m bored.”
In our house, “I’m bored” doesn’t stand much of a chance against a family that’s always chasing its next adventure.

If you’re looking for a way to spend less time wondering what to do and more time making memories, GetOut might just become your family’s favorite investment too.
