Home of the Annual National Gingerbread House Competition, The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville offers guests both virtual and in-person viewing of this year’s competition.

• 12 Days of Gingerbread
  The top 12 winners of this year’s National Gingerbread House Competition will be featured on the Omni Grove Park Inn Facebook and Instagram pages. One winner per day will be highlighted from December 1-12, with the grand prize winner being featured on December 12.
• 2021 Gingerbread House Display
  From Sunday, November 28, 2021 through Sunday, January 2, 2022, visitors are invited to view the gingerbread house display. Viewing of the displays on Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for registered resort guests and those that have confirmed dining reservations. Those who are not registered guests of the hotel may view the displays after 3:00 on Sundays or anytime on Mondays-Thursdays. There are certain dates when the public may not view the displays. Please check their website for full details before you visit.

Columbus, Ohio

Throughout the entire month of December, visitors of Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens will enjoy the creativity on display for their 15th Annual Gingerbread Competition. This year’s theme is “There is No Place Like Home for the Holidays”. Viewing the gingerbread houses is included in the regular admission price.

San Francisco, California

A 2-story tall Victorian gingerbread house greets you as you enter the lobby of the Fairmont in San Francisco. The 22-foot tall structure debuted on November 27, and it will remain on display throughout the holiday season. Fredericksburg, Virginia

George Washington’s Ferry Farm celebrates it’s 35th year of gingerbread house creations with the theme of “Winter Holidays Around the World”. The creations will be on display from December 5-30 (though it will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). Click here for details and to purchase tickets.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The beloved Pittsburgh tradition of the past 18 years will be changing slightly this year as people are invited to view the entries both virtually and in-person on the portico of the City-County Building through January 7, 2022.
