Adventures in the US began in 2021 as a travel resource. What started as a passion for exploring new places quickly became a way to help others discover hidden gems, plan memorable trips, and create lasting memories with families and friends.

Over time, however, we realized something important: fun isn't limited to vacations and road trips.

While we still love discovering amazing destinations, we also value finding meaningful ways to incorporate fun, adventure, creativity, connection, and purpose into everyday life. Whether it's trying a new recipe, starting a family tradition, reading a great book, volunteering in the community, tackling a DIY project, or spending time outdoors, some of life's best moments happen at home.

As a result, Adventures in the US has grown and evolved into Choose Your Fun - a resource designed to inspire others to live more intentionally and make the most of every day.

Now you will find travel inspiration alongside ideas for play, self-care, everyday living, and giving back. Our goal is simple: to help you discover new ways to create joy, make memories, and choose fun - wherever life takes you.

Do you have a passion for travel, family, fun, self-care, everyday living, community involvement, or helping others? We'd love to hear from you!

As Adventures in the US continues to grow, we're looking for talented writers and storytellers who share our mission of helping people choose more fun, adventure, connection, and purpose in their lives.

How it Works
Before writing a full article, interested contributors must complete our Contributor Application Form. This allows us to learn more about your interests, experience, and the topics you'd like to write about.

We review each application to determine whether your proposed content aligns with our audience and editorial goals.

Important Information
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance as a contributor, publication of future content, or article assignments.

If your application is approved, we may:
  • Approve one of your article ideas;
  • Suggest modifications to your topic;
  • Invite you to write on a topic we are currently seeking;
  • Request additional information before moving forward.

Contributor Compensation
We believe quality content deserves compensation.

Approved contributors whose articles are accepted and published on Adventures in the US will receive payment. Compensation amounts may vary based on article length, complexity, research requirements, and content type.

Specific compensation details will be discussed and agreed upon before any article is assigned or submitted.
