If you are searching for the best family activities in Utah this summer, let me save you some time: put Imaginaria at Thanksgiving Point at the top of your list.
We visited last week with our kids, Grandma, and Grandpa, and it ended up being one of our favorite family outings of the entire summer.
As a mom, I am always looking for activities that everyone enjoys. That’s not easy when you have energetic kids, grandparents, and parents all trying to have a good experience together. Somehow, Imaginaria managed to be the perfect fit for all of us.
The kids were completely captivated from the moment we walked in. There was so much to explore, climb, discover, create, and photograph that they never once asked if it was time to go home. For parents, that alone is worth celebrating.

Imaginaria is a summer festival experience taking place throughout the stunning Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. The gardens have been transformed into a giant celebration of imagination, creativity, play, and American history.
As you wander through the gardens, you’ll discover immersive play zones, interactive activities, hands on experiences, beautiful patriotic displays, larger than life art installations, and giant replicas of iconic American landmarks.
My kids could not stop talking about the enormous Statue of Liberty. We also loved seeing the Lincoln Memorial, Mount Rushmore, and the incredible historical flag displays throughout the gardens.
Highlights include:
Every turn seemed to reveal something new.

If your kids are the type who learn best by doing, this place is a dream.
There are opportunities to:
What I appreciated most was that it never felt like a museum where parents are constantly reminding children not to touch anything. Kids are encouraged to engage, explore, imagine, and play.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful.
Even when the kids were racing ahead to discover the next activity, the adults were enjoying the scenery, flowers, pathways, artwork, and peaceful atmosphere.
One of the highlights for our family was bringing Grandma and Grandpa. Thanksgiving Point offers golf cart assistance throughout Ashton Gardens, making it much easier for older family members or those with mobility concerns to experience everything alongside the rest of the family.
Instead of sitting out, they were able to be part of the adventure, and that made the day even more special.

Finding an activity that works for toddlers, school age kids, teenagers, parents, and grandparents can be challenging.
Imaginaria is one of those rare places that truly appeals to everyone.
The kids are entertained.
Parents enjoy watching them explore.
Grandparents can comfortably participate.
And everyone leaves with great photos and even better memories.

Imaginaria runs through August 22 and is located at Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah.
The experience is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., giving families plenty of flexibility to plan a visit around summer schedules.
There are also special Summer Night events throughout the season, making it an especially fun evening activity when temperatures cool down.
We recommend planning at least 3 to 4 hours to fully experience Imaginaria. Between the gardens, interactive exhibits, playgrounds, crafts, activities, and photo opportunities, it is easy to spend an entire day exploring.
Seeing famous monuments recreated throughout Ashton Gardens makes history feel larger than life.
Kids will want to do this again and again. Expect a wait during busy evenings.
One of the smartest parts of the event because it turns learning into a game.
Possibly the most impressive photo opportunity at the event.
As beautiful as the activities are, don’t forget to appreciate the gardens themselves.
Imaginaria is included with regular Ashton Gardens admission and is free for Thanksgiving Point members.
Children ages 2 and under are free.
Families can also purchase an All Access Pass, which includes admission to all seven Thanksgiving Point venues for three consecutive days.
For guests wanting even more activities, the Ultimate Activity Card unlocks additional crafts, interactive experiences, take home projects, and special festival activities.

Trust me. Your kids will already be asking when they can come back before you even make it back to the parking lot!
